Targeted Audience: Professionals Working with Adoptive Families. This course discusses the various characteristics and values that are held by successful adoptive families, what the experiences and needs are for children who are adopted, what research has found to be the best practices to support adoptive families, and how to understand and enhance community capacity to support adoptive families among critical issues. This course is a self-paced course with no instructor. Participants work on the course at their own pace. Course length is approximately 1.5 hour.
